One day there maybe will be scientists exploring alien planets like earth (planets circling around other stars than the sun are called exoplanets). There are quite some astronomy research groups looking for such planets and they have found already a lot of them. Unfortunately earth like planets are difficult to detect (they are tiny compared to the stars they are close to). But already planets just twice the size of the earth have been detected.

So maybe one day we will see anther green-blue planet and send starships to them.
